I am currently creating a 32KB Atari 2600 game about the Cuban Revolution of the late-1950s. It features a procedurally generated open world created in only 2 bytes of RAM. There are over 65 000 individual screens in the game. The code name of the game is Sierra Maestra.
The Atariage devlog thread for Sierra Maestra is here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/269750-sierra-maestra-an-early-wip/
